I was very pleased with his advice If in the future I need a lawyer certainly will be Mr. Howes
Attorney Alexander Sass joined the Law Offices of Mark W. Howes, LLC in 2019. He brings with him experience in personal injury litigation, intellectual property law, and corporate transactions. He currently represents clients in IP, criminal, corporate, and general civil matters.
Originally from Connecticut, Mr. Sass grew up in South Carolina. Mr. Sass earned undergraduate degrees in music performance and political science with a minor in legal studies from the University of North Carolina Asheville in just four years. Mr. Sass went on to earn his law degree from The Pennsylvania State University – Penn State Law in 2018. During his time as a law student, Mr. Sass worked at the school’s Arts, Sports, and Entertainment Law Clinic handling cases ranging from filing trademarks to sending cease and desist letters to companies infringing on clients’ copyrights. Upon completion of his studies, Mr. Sass took and passed both the Virginia and Maryland bar examinations in less than a year.
Mr. Sass has an extreme attention to detail and frequently catches mistakes that other lawyers may have missed. This attention to detail combined with his lifelong performance experience make Mr. Sass a force to be reckoned with both in and out of the courtroom.
Mr. Sass is also an active volunteer with both Maryland Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts where he provides pro bono entertainment law services to qualifying individuals.
